Our community work

The Royal City Ambassadors takes pride in our relationships throughout Guelph and the surrounding area.

Besides providing a weekly fun evening of singing and fellowship for men of all ages, our program actively provides opportunity for musical and personal development.  We offer musical training and vocal technique (singing) coaching every week, sometimes down to the individual level.  Our organization also provides opportunity for leadership and other volunteer development activities related to operating a non-profit organization.

The most enjoyable part of being a Royal City Ambassador is having the chance to participate in some of our many regular  – and random singouts.  We regularly perform:
– In city parks throughout the summer
– At ballgames
– In an annual show
– In place of Sunday morning church choirs
– In our Christmas shows
– In retirement homes
– Fall fairs
– City council meetings
– Even the odd Birthday, wedding or other event

Moneys that we raise from event fees or donations goes to two charities that we support:

Harmonize for Speech – Supports speech improvement – related programs throughout the area.  We have contributed hundreds of thousands over the years to programs such as:
St. Joseph’s Guelph – Speech-Language Pathology.

Sing Canada Harmony – Providing financial assistance for the furtherment of vocal music development.
